Durians are planted much in communes of Ngu Hiep, Tam Binh, Long Trung, Long Tien, Hoi Xuan, Long Khanh and Cam Son, etc. of Cai Lay district and Cai Lay town with the area of more than 7,185 ha and annual output of 126,850 tons.
Durian has thick, hard and sharp cover with the weight of from 2-5 kg. When ripe, durian has a strong smell which can be felt from far distance. The pulp is yellow color, strong taste containing much nutrition.
